INSTALLATION
DATIME should be executable directly from the floppy disk.
We suggest that you make a backup copy, using your favorite
disk duplication program. We strongly suggest that you
install DATIME on your hard disk. Performance is affected by
floppy drive throughput.
EXECUTING DATIME FROM A FLOPPY:
1) Insert the floppy disk containing DATIME into a floppy
disk drive. If this drive is the "B" drive then use "B:"
instead of "A:" in the remaining steps.
2) For systems with a Sound Blaster, AdLib, or PC Speaker, at
the DOS prompt type:
A:
DATIME
For systems with a Disney Sound Source, at the DOS prompt
type:
A:
DATIME -D
3) This command should display:
Digital Audio Time version 1.0
COPYRIGHT (c) 1993 by Allen & Carole Grider
Shareware version - Continued use requires registration
The time is HH:MM [ PM ]
And you should hear the time being spoken.

INSTALLATION TO HARD DISK:
If you have received your copy of DATIME 1.0 from a disk
or rack vendor, they may have included an installation
program. If so, then follow the directions supplied therein.
Otherwise, follow these directions.
1) Insert the floppy disk containing DATIME into the
floppy disk drive. If this drive is the "B" drive, use
"B:" instead of "A:" in the remaining steps.
2) You should create a directory on your hard disk. We
suggest DATIME as its name. It can be on any of your
DOS disks. These procedures assume that you will install
DATIME on your C: disk. If you wish to install it on
another of your disks, substitute that disk for C: in the
rest of these steps. Type the following to create the
directory.
C:
CD \
MKDIR DATIME
CD DATIME
3) Copy the contents of the floppy disk into the directory you
just created on your hard disk.
COPY A:*.*
4) Digital Audio Time 1.0 is now installed on your hard
disk. To complete the installation, print out the DATIME.DOC
and REGISTER.DOC files.
5) For systems with a Sound Blaster, AdLib, or PC Speaker, at
the DOS prompt type:
DATIME
For systems with a Disney Sound Source, at the DOS prompt
type:
DATIME -D
6) This command should display:
